300H Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Program

The White Space Wellness 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Program is a series of courses designed for yoga teachers who wish to advance their teaching by simultaneously deepening and broadening their knowledge and skills. Our modules can be taken as independent courses for the purposes of continuing education, or, can be taken as a full series to complete a Yoga Alliance registered advanced certification program.

The full series can be broken down into the following independent courses:

100 HOUR ADVANCED YOGA TEACHER TRAINING INTENSIVE. Upgrade the knowledge and skills you gained from your 200 hour yoga teacher training certification course with our advanced yoga teacher training program. In this course, you'll get to:

  • refine and elevate your teaching with a deeper appreciation and fuller integration of subtle anatomy;
  • guide and nurture your students in cultivating the mastery needed for more advanced or complex asanas;
  • find your voice and express your self in designing sequences that go beyond the merely anatomical;
  • hone your sensitivity and skill in adjusting and assisting students;
  • adapt sequences to meet the specific needs of less mainstream populations and use yoga to specifically enhance the quality of people's lives; and
  • immerse yourself in the principal texts of the Vedic and Tantric traditions that underlie contemporary yoga philosophy.

100 HOUR PRENATAL AND POSTPARTUM YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE. Expand your teaching skill set and learn how to use yoga to support women undertaking the miraculous journey of pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood. In this course, you'll get to:

  • understand and appreciate prenatal and postpartum anatomy and physiology and use this knowledge to teach yoga safely and effectively to pregnant and postpartum women;
  • perform, teach, modify and use props with asanas customized to suit the specific needs of pregnant and postpartum women;
  • design logical and impactful class sequences for various stages of pregnancy and early motherhood;
  • incorporate yogic philosophical principles and practices such as pranayama and meditation into prenatal and postpartum classes; and
  • gain experience, confidence and skill in teaching actual yoga classes to pregnant and postpartum women in various stages of pregnancy and early motherhood.

100 HOUR MINDFULNESS TEACHER TRAINING INTENSIVE. Augment your teaching tool kit and learn how to use meditation to broaden and deepen the benefits gained from yoga practice. In this course, you'll get to:

  • understand how meditation profoundly transforms human lives by literally changing the structure and function of the human brain;
  • appreciate the cultural and religious contexts out of which meditation evolved, specifically examining its roots in the Hindu and Buddhist traditions;
  • experience the major formal and informal meditation techniques and cultivate or deepen a personal practice; and
  • learn how to introduce other individuals to the practice and lead brief guided meditation sessions using the most common methods.

Each course's tuition fee covers the course materials and certificate. To avail of the very early bird fees, participants should fully settle a course's tuition fee twelve weeks in advance. For early bird fees, full settlement should be made six weeks in advance. For reservations in a course, participants are required to make a nonrefundable deposit of PHP15,000.00 with the remainder of the tuition fee payable on installment upon the studio's discretion. FACULTY:

Eileen Tupaz is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500) and the Co-Director of White Space Mind and Body Wellness Studio. Originally trained in the Ashtanga Vinyasa style, Eileen has since immersed herself in other styles and traditions out of her love for yoga and her belief that the practice becomes truly transformative when it's tailored to the singular needs of the individual practitioner. Eileen studied Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with Clayton Horton, Editha Tobias, Jovan Nikolic, Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor; Purna Yoga with John Ogilvie and Michael Nazar; Older Adult and Restorative Yoga with Leslie Kazadi; Yin Yoga with Victor Chng; Partner and Community Yoga with Ieva Wildlovebeamer; and anatomy with Dr. Ray Long. Eileen is well-known for her clear, systematic and often irreverent teaching style and her ability to convey abstract, complex or technical knowledge in a lucid and accessible manner.

Abbey Rivadelo is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT200), Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) and the Co-Director of White Space Mind and Body Wellness Studio. Also originally trained in the Ashtanga Vinyasa style, Abbey has since studied and learned other yoga styles and traditions—and even other movement genres—out of her belief that yoga's transformational power is best unleashed when it's tailored to the unique preferences of the individual practitioner. Abbey studied Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with Clayton Horton, Editha Tobias and Jovan Nikolic and Pre- and Post-Natal Yoga with Michelle Papa and Samantha Briatico. She takes inspiration from the work of Donna Farhi, Sadie Nardini and Shiva Rea. Abbey is well-known for her serene, nurturing and light-hearted approach to yoga and her focus on its more subtle emotional and energetic benefits.
